better late than never

Walking through a garden in the middle of Genova was something that I never thought was possible. The city seemed so compact, full of small allies and hardly any vegetation. However in the last days of our stay we were brought to a garden full of life and beauty. It was a great thing to see and something I will never forget.

Wyatt

Going back to America did not sound like the best path to take after being in Italy for 6 weeks and falling in love with it. However there are some things that make coming back so much more sweet, like Wyatt. =)

im going to miss you guys

Six weeks went by fast and not only am I going to miss Italy but also the people that I have bonded with. I hope that we all stay friends and hang out when we get back to school.

Alps

The Alps were on real. They looked like something from a fairy tale. Walking for hours seemed like a piece of pie when you are walking in one of the most beautiful places in the world. There even were sheep and cattle in the valley. I hope that some day I will be able to bring my family there and show them this amazing place.

Torino

Torino is one of the most beautiful cities that I have ever been to. The architecture is beautiful and the people are nice. Theres not much traffic but there is a bunch of shopping. The coffee is to die for and the museums are one of a kind.

In a beautiful place with beautiful light I noticed an easel pushed in the corner of a big building. The easel was all by itself. That lonely easel was not being used for the creation of art or beauty. It was just alone and lonely.

Firenza e como nienta citta che io vedato in il mondo. E molto bella e l'arte e benissimo. In venerdi andato a Ufficio Musea di Medici. Noi vedato molto arte di il Renascimento. L'arte e piu bella in persona di in fotografia. Sei dopo andato a fotografare la citta. In sabato noi andato a incontrare un professore di fotografia. Lui professore e molto interessante per che lui ho ricordo a Robert Frank. In domenica andato a visita la statua di David. La statua di David lei pui imponente in persona. La statua e molto grande. Ho posso guardo la statua tutto il giorni di l'anno.

outlook

Italia has a different outlook on beauty. Full frontal nudity is not accepted at American in public. It is interesting to see children walking by this advertisement and not thinking anything of it. Experiencing this whole new culture is amazing.

space

Sometimes I feel like I am withering away. No matter how much I try to be normal, sometimes I feel like a don't belong.
I sit and think about everything and try to organize my thoughts but it only makes it worst. I feel like I am in my own world and no one can understand me. I wonder if others feel the same or if I just think to much....

amazing

Firenze was amazing. It was wonderful to finally see the amazing art and architecture that I have learned throughout the past couple years, in person. The pictures that I have learned from do not compare to the actual work. It is definitely something that I have to go back to and see at my own time. I want to be able to appreciate every inch of the statue of David. I want to be able to analyze the oil paint used to paint the Birth of Venus and I want to be able to walk in the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Every day I think about living in Italy more and more. It is a wonderful place where art is truly appreciate.
